Surviving After Your Loved One's Suicide
May 10, 2017 –
YOU ARE NOT ALONE.
If you have lost someone to suicide, the first thing you should know is you are not alone. Each year, over 38,500 people in the US die by suicide. The devastated family and friends they leave behind are known as "survivors."
When survivors of suicide meet, it is an embrace of understanding. When we come together and talk, we are less lonely. When we stand together and express our emotions, we begin to heal. Meeting others further along in their grief gives us hope.
